🐷🎶 Three little pigs, one hungry wolf, and a little Mozart magic.

Our 26-27 Resident Artists are hard at work bringing this classic fairy tale to life!

In John Davies’s adaptation, siblings Don Giovanni, Cherubino, and Despina set out to build their homes. But while two opt for straw and sticks, Despina heads to the library to research “huff-proof, puff-proof” construction. With Wolfgang Bigbad the wolf on the prowl, will knowledge save the day? And will the siblings save their bacon? 🐺

Find out when Opera On Wheels makes its public debut at Mott Branch Library on Saturday, October 31, at 2:30 PM, followed by a special family performance on Sunday, November 8, at 4 PM at Epworth United Methodist Church.

Bring the whole family for music, laughter, and storytelling (with a little Mozart tucked into the mix)!

🎉 Help us wish a very happy birthday to Keith Phares, Baritone!

We’ve loved welcoming Keith to the Toledo Opera stage in recent productions of South Pacific, Cinderella, and The Merry Widow. And we’re delighted to have him back this season as Captain Corcoran in Gilbert and Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore! ⚓

At Aida: Homelands, Toledo Opera brought audiences together for an evening inspired by Verdi’s Aida, exploring Ethiopian culture and history through conversation, food, music, and shared experiences.
