The Secor Artists

We are a community of artists who maintain studios in the historic Secor Building in downtown Toledo, Ohio. The Secor was once the finest hotel in the city.

After Jim Zaleski purchased it in 1998 he began a slow and expensive process of rehabbing it. His labor has paid off. The entrance lobby has been renovated with gleaming granite flooring, the elevator underwent a complete refurbishment, an art gallery was created on the first floor for events (including resident artists in the building) and a new restaurant, Registry Bistro under the direction of

Chef Erika Rapp. Floors 5-7 are studios for local artists, and there are other undeveloped spaces in the building. We looking to develop the spaces that cater to your taste and interest.
