Thank you everyone for supporting the Eastern US Oireachtas ! We were so amazed at all the talent that came and hope that each dancer came away with something positive.

Here is the abridged schedule for the day. A much more extensive schedule will be in the program at registration. As you can see we have quite a day planned. We will be running a split stage and we will have NO lunch break. The hotel plans to offer hot dogs, etc in the lobby.
This schedule is tentative and may change as the day progresses. Thank you for working with us to make this an awesome day!

9:00 Beginners, then Primary, then Intermediate…etc.
It will be a long day going most likely till 8PM! We have a record number of OCs, so get excited to see some awesome dancing!

The 2021 Eastern US OIreachtas and all grade exams will now be held at the Radisson Hotel at the University of Toledo. It is a lovely venue with plenty of room! We apologized for any inconvenience.

It’s not too late to register…it’s not too late to add hand dances or an 8 hand…. It’s not too late to sign up for a Beginner, Primary or Intermediate Premiership!
If you have signed up for a Premiership, put in a little more practice so you can take one of these home!

Registration Closes for the WIDA grade and TCRG exams.
Here is your chance to start your dancers early by taking exams to eventually become a teacher at a gradual pace. Or start the process as an adult and do the TCRG!

Because this is a championship feis, we normally would not offer open solos. But, because we have so many newly open dancers who are not ready for OC, we are offering them.

Also there is not suppose to be a Preliminary Championship in an Open Championship feis. So, all preliminary dancers are open to do OC provided they are ready to do all 4 rounds as per the WIDA Syllabi.

You do NOT need to do the required 2 solos in an OC feis and you do not at this one either. We are really offering open solos to the non OC dancer. The OC dancers will do their 4 rounds.

If you choose to do the open solos, they will be separate from OC and awarded separately.

I hope this makes it clear, but if not please message us and we will be happy to help!
