Well… now that the important folks in my life know — Mom, my sister, my nephew, Memphis, my improv fam, MY JOB and the people closest to me. I can FINALLY say it publicly. ✈️💙
I’ve made the decision to bet on myself.
On October 29th, I’ll be leaving for Salt Lake City to begin training as a FLIGHT ATTENDANT! ✈️😭
I accepted a position with an airline, and somehow I have managed to keep this secret for OVER TWO MONTHS. If you know me, you know keeping my mouth shut for that long might actually be the biggest accomplishment here. 😂 And now training is only THREE WEEKS AWAY!
Sometimes things just start falling into place. The universe gives you a sign, and eventually you have to stop overthinking, close your eyes and leap… or whatever that green witch said in Wicked. 😂💚
Training will have me living out of a hotel for 35 days, so I’ll drop my Venmo, Cash App and PayPal in the comments for anyone who wants to help with some of the little living expenses while I’m away. PLEASE do not feel obligated to send anything. I’m mostly putting it there for my own peace of mind because apparently I cope with major life changes by planning for every possible scenario. 😂
The hardest part will be leaving my baby boy Memphis for those 35 days. 🐶💔 I’m going to miss him like CRAZY. But this next chapter is for both of us. I’m building something new for our little family, and I’m ready.
And to those of you who have known, supported me, hyped me up, talked me off the ledge and somehow managed to KEEP THIS SECRET — I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know.
I’m excited. I’m nervous. I’m probably a little crazy.
But I’m ready to take to the skies. ✈️

GOOD NEWS & BAD NEWS! 🥴

Met with the neurosurgeon, and after reexamining my MRI, NO BACK SURGERY! 🙌🏾

The bad news is surgery is actually considered too risky because of the condition/location of my disc. They want to see how my back does once this current flare-up settles down before deciding what comes next.

For now, the plan is an epidural injection in my back to hopefully get this pain and inflammation under control. 💉

So here’s to a better back, some much-needed relief, and apparently a little vacation at the hospital that I DID NOT book. 😂
