AS THE CURTAIN CLOSES ON ABF 2026… ❤️

A huge thank you to our artists, crew, venues, production teams, volunteers and everyone behind the scenes who brought this season to life. And to every patron who bought a ticket and supported live entertainment during a cost-of-living crisis — we see you, and we are incredibly grateful.

As we close our 2026 season, we’re reflecting on 17 years of the Australian Burlesque Festival and what we’ve contributed to this art form.

For almost two decades, ABF has created stages and opportunities for hundreds of performers, championed emerging and established artists, showcased international talent and helped bring burlesque into theatres and to wider audiences across Australia.

That legacy takes years of commitment, risk, investment and hard work. We are incredibly proud of the opportunities we’ve created and the role we’ve played in growing burlesque in this country.

This is why supporting ABF matters. Every ticket purchased helps sustain a platform that supports artists, connects audiences and helps burlesque continue to thrive.

As we head into our 18th year, it’s time to take a breath, reflect and plan our next chapter. We’ll be taking a proper break while we assess 2027 and make some positive changes to our branding, media, marketing and future events.

In 2027, we’re flipping the lid! New ideas, new shows and new opportunities, while honouring the legacy that brought us here.

Thank you for 17 extraordinary years. We’re proud of what we’ve built together, and excited about what comes next.

ABF isn’t disappearing. We’re evolving. ❤️

TONIGHT!

NEW FOLLIES!!

The final show of this 2026 Australian Burlesque Festival national tour!

What an amazing month it's been travelling around this beautiful land - bringing the art of Burlesque in all its forms and guises to the masses.

Tonight's show will feature an official 'handover' act from last year's New Follies winner Bonnie Dune (pictured here looking gorg in Alice Springs earlier in the tour).

We have 15 wonderful performers tonight all jumping out of their skins (and corsets) and giving their all so please book a ticket and support all of our future Burlesque superstars as they close out this 2026 national tour.
