Musical Director - Ben Lunn
New singers very welcome! Cappella Slavonica is a mixed chamber choir, located in Glasgow.

email [email protected]
Rehearsals Thursday 7-9pm, Woodside Halls, Glenfarg Street, Glasgow G20 7QE Our wide repertoire is drawn from the rich musical heritage of Eastern Europe, including Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, Hungary and other countries, much of it sadly unfamiliar in Scotland. Cappella Slavonica has given public performances in numerous prestigious venues, mainly in Glasgow and Edinburgh; it also makes a significant contribution to the cultural life in Scotland. We warmly welcome new singers. If you are interested in joining the choir, please contact us. It is not necessary to know a specific language, and the ability to read music is desirable but not essential. Rehearsals take place on Thursdays from 7.00 to 9.00pm at Woodside Halls, Glenfarg Street, Glasgow G20 7QE, from September to May.

Making Music provides invaluable support to groups like Ca****la Slavonica through their educational materials and webinars. It was already very useful to learn some helpful tips and advice at the recent kick-off meeting for the Adopt a Music Creator programme, and our choir is currently on a mission to select a composer to work with later in the year!
