Making magical memories at Alnwick Playhouse! 🎭

We loved welcoming Early Years and Class 1 yesterday for a fantastic live theatre experience as part of the Schools Go Free Funding initiative.

Thanks to this initiative, the children were able to enjoy the magic of live performance, with transport costs covered too! 🚌💫

Just look at those smiles! ❤️ There’s nothing better than seeing young audiences discovering the joy of theatre.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this opportunity possible. We hope to welcome you back to the Playhouse again soon! 🌟

This Hospice Care Week, we’re inviting our community to talk about something that affects every one of us: death and dying.

Another Goodbye is a tender and thought-provoking performance by Adie Mueller, inspired by the loss of her mum.

Following the performance, we'll be joined by for a conversation exploring the themes raised by the show.

A chance to reflect, listen, share and perhaps start a conversation you’ve been meaning to have.

A look back at The Playhouse Guitar Festival...

What a weekend! We’re taking a moment to look back on an incredible few days of guitars, music, creativity and community. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the festival so special — whether you picked up a guitar, joined a workshop, watched a performance, or simply came along to enjoy the atmosphere.

And a very special thank you to the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority for funding the weekend of activity and helping us bring this celebration of music to life.

We loved having you with us — and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! 🎶

THEATRE | When Adie Mueller’s mum decided it was time to stop her medical treatment, Adie promised herself she would travel to Germany and visit her regularly.
Then the pandemic happened.

Another Goodbye tells the story of what followed – a story of love, loss, letting go and another goodbye.

A gentle and intimate piece of theatre that asks questions many of us will face at some point in our lives.

The performance will be followed by a conversation with HospiceCare North Northumberland.

Friday 16th October 7.45pm

Head to the Alnwick Playhouse website to get your tickets.
