SHOW NEWS KLAXON!!

Rehearsals will begin on our next production, Made in Dagenham on Tuesday 5th Sept!

We can't wait to welcome members old and new! Come along to the introductory meeting for the show on Tuesday. Our creative team will be talking through the show and the ways you can get involved, both on and off stage.

So, if you fancy treading the boards, making sets, or helping with costumes and props, come to our first meeting at Swansfield Park Primary School in Alnwick at 7.30pm on Tuesday!

We are proud to announce that ASMS has been nominated for several 2023 NODA awards! Including...

⭐Best Musical for Oklahoma!
⭐Best individual performance for Jonathan Goodman as Curly.
⭐ Best individual performance for Juliette Bell as Laurey.
⭐Best individual performance for Mark Stenton as Jud Fry.

Massive congratulations to all of the individual nominees and to everyone involved in the show: cast, crew and creative!

The ceremony is in October, wish us luck!

That's a wrap for Oklahoma!

A huge thanks to everyone who has supported us by coming to see the show this week.

An even bigger THANK YOU to everyone involved who have worked so hard to make the show such an amazing success! Actors, singers, dancers, choreographers, directors, musical directors, stage directors (so many directors!) props, wardrobe, lighting, sound, general tech geniuses, poster designers, musicians, stage hands, front of house staff, raffle organisers...and to anyone else we've forgotten: THANK YOU! So many hours have been put in by so many people to make our shows happen - we couldn't do it without you!

What a night we had on Saturday at the NODA North awards!

We were the winners of no less than 8 awards for our productions of Jesus Christ Superstar and Cabaret on Broadway!

Rehearsals for next years' production of Oklahoma will begin on

🎉🎭TUESDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER 2022!🎭🎉

We can't wait to welcome everyone to our initial meeting at Swansfield Park Primary School at 7.30pm.

The creative team; Director Paul Toward, Musical Director, Peter Brown and Choreographer Leonie Airlie will be taking us through their plans for the production.

For the first time since 2019 we can welcome NEW MEMBERS! Everyone is welcome, in any capacity be it on or off stage, so what are you waiting for?!

Here's Susannah Clapcott, who's performance of 'Life is a Cabaret' in our 2019 show earned her a nomination for a Best Performance Noda Award! Susannah will be reprising her role in the show this week.
