ROCKIT Productions' annual season encompasses Mainstage musical productions, In-School workshops, various concerts, corporate work and co-production work with organisations such as Creative Generation: State Schools Onstage, Redland City Council and Strictly Danc

The ROCKIT team of Teaching Artists maintain professional work both on stage and behind the scenes with companies such as Opera Queensland, Queensland Theatre Company, La Boîte Theatre Company, Harvest Rain Theatre Company, Shake & Stir Theatre Company, Camp Quality and The Starlight Foundation. The ROCKIT Team strive to support and encourage students as they grow in performance. Providing opportunities to develop their skills in singing, acting and dance while rehearsing high quality musical productions. After 8 months of partnership, rehearsals, creativity, and plenty of trips down the Yellow Brick Road, it was so special seeing the magic come to life on stage. These photos capture the heart, courage, brains, and pure joy that this cast and crew brought to the production 💚👠

Chookas to the incredible cast and crew of Carmel College’s production of The Wizard of Oz opening tonight! 💚🌪️✨

Over the past 8 months, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside these young performers and creatives as they brought this production to life. At ROCKIT, creating quality theatrical experiences for young people is at the heart of what we do. But even more important than the final performance is the journey it takes to get there.

Through rehearsals, challenges, friendships, big wins, and moments of discovery, this process has been about growth, belonging, and striving for excellence both on and off the stage. We are so proud of every student who has contributed their energy, courage, and creativity to this show.

Now it’s time to step onto the yellow brick road and share it with an audience. Break legs, have the best time, and enjoy every moment of opening night! 🌈🦁👠
