Our aims and ideals are to

foster and encourage the talents of musicians and to bring fine music to the people of the Redland Shire, a locality in the greater Brisbane area. The Redland Sinfonia generally performs four regular concerts in the Redland Shire, along with other concerts by request, which helps make a very busy year. Our repertoire includes a wide variety of classical music as well as a selection of popular light music.

Concert One of the Redland Sinfonia Series – Peter in the Wild was a massive success, and we’ve been blown away by the incredible support from our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an unforgettable afternoon of music, imagination and orchestral magic! 🌿✨

The afternoon also shines a spotlight on emerging talent, with dazzling piano concerto movements performed by some of the region’s brightest young pianists.

Thank you, our wonderful friends and supporters, for your amazing support of our Peter and the Wild concert last Saturday. This was the first concert in our 40th Birthday season and the appreciation you showed us was fantastic. We especially loved the children in the audience enjoying their first taste of an orchestral concert. Thank you to our guests, Councillor Paul Bishop who narrated Peter and the Wolf for us and Bayside Dance who complimented our music with beautiful choreography and dancing.

We look forward to bringing you our next concert on June 6th where we will feature some brilliant, young, up and coming pianists along with Beethoven's Pastorale Symphony.

Just a thought - get in quick to assure your tickets. We sold out for our concert last weekend.

We are excited, only three more sleeps until Redland Sinfonia presents our wonderful concerts of Peter and the Wolf and other classical, lively animal themed music.

We have been incredibly thankful for our loyal patrons and friends' support of this concert. You have all been so wonderful that we need to let you know we are completely sold out for both concerts- Wow!!

If you were thinking of buying your tickets on the day, unfortunately you won't be able to. We are so sorry that you will miss out this time on hearing the orchestra play, and begin it's 40th Birthday season.

Don't forget if you were lucky enough to secure tickets, there will be a sausage sizzle at interval and of course our wonderful raffle. We will have eftpos facilities available.

But...
Be sure to get in early for our next concert on June 6th where we will bring you "Beautiful Beethoven" including his amazing 6th Symphony which was featured in Disney's "Fantasia" plus beautiful Beethoven Piano Concerto movements featuring up and coming young pianists.

We will also celebrate Qld Day and continue our 40th Birthday celebrations at this concert. Tickets are already selling so be sure to get yours soon.

Join us in the RPAC Events Hall for Peter in the Wild: A Musical Adventure for All Ages — a lively, sensory friendly concert packed with animal themed favourites including Peter and the Wolf, The Lion King, Baby Elephant Walk, Flight of the Bumblebee and more. 🐺🦁🐘🐝

Young children will enjoy the colourful sounds, welcoming narration and the chance to dress as their favourite creatures. Their soft toys can even take part in an onstage parade — guaranteed to deliver peak cuteness. 🧸✨

Redland Sinfonia's lovely flautist is also a talented cake decorator. She made and decorated a cake for orchestra rehearsal to say thank you to all the players for their dedication to their music.

You can hear Helen's beautiful flute playing at our concert on March 28th where she will play the bird in Peter and the Wolf at our Peter in the Wild concert.
You'll also hear many other joyful pieces of music with an animal theme. Come rekindle wonderful musical memories and join us either at 11am or 2pm. This concert is for both the young and young at heart.

Young people are encouraged to dress up and bring a favourite toy to enter our musical parade.

A sausage sizzle will be available for purchase before the concert and during interval .

Rehearsals are well underway for Peter and the Wolf. Make sure you put it on your to do list this week to buy your tickets for Redland Sinfonia's "Peter in the Wild" concert on March 28th. These concerts are a great way to explore the orchestra along with some special guests.
Kids get to dress up and bring their favourite animal toy for our parade.

There's even a sausage sizzle at interval!

It's time to channel your inner child and remember the joy of listening to fun orchestral music. This concert, presented by Redland Sinfonia on March 28th, is the perfect way to rekindle beautiful musical memories and create new musical memories with a new generation.

The classic tale of Peter and the Wolf will be recreated by the orchestra with special guests and Councillor Paul Bishop as our narrator.

Bring your children, grandchildren and your inner child to enjoy this joyful and light-hearted orchestral experience for lovers of music of all ages.

Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite animal and bring their favourite toy to join in the "animal parade".

This is a great concert to introduce the younger generation to beautiful orchestral music.

Redland Sinfonia was very proud to receive a Special Commendation at the Redlands Coast Australia Day Awards in the cultural category. 🇦🇺
Congratulations to the orchestra and thanks to the Australia Day Committee for this honour.
This year Redland Sinfonia, formally known as Cleveland Symphony Orchestra, will celebrate its 40th Birthday. What a wonderful way to begin our birthday year.

Many musicians and soloists have performed with and in fact started their career with the Redland Sinfonia over the years.

Some wonderful concerts are planned as part of the celebrations for the year.

Tickets are now on sale for all concerts at RPAC, the first being Peter in the Wild on March 28th. This is an interactive performance of Peter and the Wolf, narrated by councillor Paul Bishop with original artworks of the story. Other works featuring animals will also be performed. 🐱🦊🐺🐅🐆🐴🐕🦧🦁🐷🦓🦒🐨🐔
Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite animal to join in the spirit of the day... there will be prizes for the best dressed.🥰
A sausage sizzle will be available at interval. 🌭

Be sure to get get your tickets and bring your kids and grand kids. They are sure to have a great time getting to know the orchestra.
