Art Journaling is back this Saturday!

Join us for a relaxed morning of creative play where we'll explore colour, collage, mark-making and all the wonderful imperfections that make art journaling so much fun. No experience is necessary and there are no rules to follow—just a willingness to have a go.

Whether you're an experienced journaler or completely new to mixed media, you'll be welcomed into a friendly and supportive group where creativity is encouraged and perfection is optional.

Last night, Acting President Julia Hahn and Secretary Ginette Parmenter had the pleasure of attending the Bendigo Bank Community Impact Night Raffle Draw on behalf of Redland Coast Art Society.

It was wonderful to connect with representatives from so many local community and not-for-profit organisations and to see first hand the positive impact being made across the Redlands.

We are grateful to Bendigo Bank for their ongoing support of community groups through initiatives such as these. The funds raised help organisations like ours continue to provide creative opportunities, exhibitions, workshops and welcoming spaces for people to connect through art.

Thank you to JJ and the Bendigo Bank team for a fantastic evening and for your continued investment in our community.

Thank you to the members who purchased raffle tickets, we were fortunate to raise $700 for the Society.

🎨 Portrait Sitter Wanted – Thursday 21 May 🎨

The Redland Coast Art Society Portrait Group is seeking a sitter for this Thursday 21 May from 2pm–4pm at the Art Hub in Capalaba.

No experience is needed — sitters simply relax while our artists sketch and paint from life in a friendly and supportive group environment.

People of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. Interesting clothing, hats, scarves or accessories can add extra character and inspiration for the artists, but are completely optional.

If you would like to volunteer as a sitter, or would like more information, please send us a message via the page.

Join Redland Coast Art Society for Art in the Park at Winter Memorial Park, Capalaba, as part of Redland City Council’s AdventureFest and the Museum and Gallery Hop.

Enjoy a relaxed day of hands-on art activities, creativity and community. There’ll be fun art experiences for children and families, friendly local artists, colourful inspiration and plenty of opportunities to get creative.
