SPECIAL GUEST WORKSHOPS WITH TIM STOLTENBERG!
We’re excited to welcome Tim Stoltenberg to FST for four nights of improv workshops! Tim is a longtime improviser, actor, writer, and comedian whose credits include The Second City and Dad’s Garage Theatre in Atlanta. He’s spent more than 20 years performing, teaching, directing, and creating comedy around the country.
THE ART OF CONTRAST | Monday, August 31, 6-9PM
Shake up your scene work! Explore how changes in space, tempo, physicality, emotion, and relationships can make your scenes more dynamic, varied, and memorable.
GET PHYSICAL | Tuesday, September 1, 6-9PM
Get out of your head and into your body. Use mime, clowning, and playful physical choices to discover characters, games, and new possibilities in your scenes.
SHORT FORM | Wednesday, September 2, 6-9PM
Go beyond just knowing the rules of the game. Dig into what makes short form really work through stronger characters, narratives, heightening, and connections between players and directors.
ROCKOLA | Thursday, September 3, 6-9PM
Let the music do the inspiring! Learn the Rockola format and use songs, lyrics, rhythm, tone, and emotion to fuel characters and scenes.
