Music Director Jotaro Nakano is at the League of American Orchestras Conference this week to speak about his research as part of a panel entitled “Orchestras in Health and Well-Being, from Intention to Practice.” Having previously served as the Peabody Arts in Health Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Hospital while a doctoral candidate with Marin Alsop at Peabody Conservatory, it’s also a chance to reconnect with colleagues in Baltimore! We were honored to provide musical support in Wednesday for the annual B*H memorial service, A Time to Remember. Thank you to our friends at the hospital bereavement and music therapy programs for inviting us to be part of this beautiful gathering of families and staff to remember the deeply loved children who have died.
