This Sunday, the Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms Society of Boston will be delighted to welcome soloists Adrian Anantawan and Sergio I. Muñoz Leiva to perform Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante!
Adrian Anantawan, violin, holds degrees from the Curtis Institute of Music, Yale University and Harvard Graduate School of Education. Memorable moments include performances at the White House, the Opening Ceremonies of the Athens and Vancouver Olympic Games and the United Nations. He is the current Chair of Music at Milton Academy and an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music. Throughout the year, Adrian continues to perform, speak and teach around the world as an advocate for disability and the arts.
Sergio I. Muñoz Leiva is a Chilean violist committed to building community through music. A versatile performer, his repertoire spans from early Baroque to contemporary music. He has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, The Metropolitan Museum, Jordan Hall, and the National Opera House of Chile. His musical mentors include Penelope Knuth, Kim Kashkashian, and Carol Rodland. He holds degrees from the New England Conservatory, Eastman School of Music, and The Juilliard School. Muñoz Leiva is Director of Chamber Music at College of the Holy Cross and is Music Theory Instructor at Project STEP.
