Mistake number nine. Barcode!!! I promise it’s worth the effort. It will take time to learn the systems and to input every item. It took two of us three and a half months to get every piece in the store. But, now we can track goods in real time and checkout is a breeze.

There are So many things that can go wrong when starting a new adventure. I’m already on number eight. Anyone know our November First Friday artist? I promise, you are important to us!

Mistake number seven as a new shop owner. People can’t read your mind. And writing it down helps everyone remember. I’m still working on contracts and paperwork. So I’m still working on this one myself.
