**Every Great Tradition Has a Beginning.** For *A Canterbury Feast*, that beginning was 1981, when Igor Stalsky, an English professor and theatre director at Mercyhurst College, brought his creative vision to life. His idea blended theatre, medieval atmosphere, and the culinary arts into a shared experience where dinner was only part of the adventure. The result was more than a meal. It was a theatrical tradition that would continue to evolve and delight audiences for decades.
