Meet the cast of Shakespeare Summer Nights - OTHELLO, running Monday through Wednesday, 6/15-6/17, 7pm at LEAF - Lake Erie Arboretum at Frontier Park!
Katrina Buchanan (Bianca, Messenger, Musician) is honored to be back for a third Shakespeare Summer Nights production! Her previous roles include Titania/Flute in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM and Celia in AS YOU LIKE IT. She earned a B.A. in English Studies from Robert Morris University (with a minor in PR and an unable-to-be-officially-declared minor in theatre). After spending the past eight years in Chicago, Katrina is thankful to return to Erie and its thriving theatre community. She sends her family a multitude of gratitude for their support!
Moriah Bartlett (Lodovico, Senator) is beyond thrilled to be in her first Shakespeare show. Entering her junior year in Gannonās CMHC program, Moriah is glad to be spending her very little free time on stage. Most recently seen as Reese in Schuster Theatreās WE ARE THE TIGERS, this marks her twelfth show. Moriah extends her gratitude to all of her supporters through the years, and hopes everyone enjoys the show.
Patrick Philip Becker (Gratiano, Gentleman, Sailor) is a versatile actor, operatic tenor, arts administrator, director, and producer. He is delighted to perform with Summer Shakespeare again as Gratiano/First Gentleman/Sailor in OTHELLO. Last season he was seen as Theseus/Fairy in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. He has been very fortunate to perform with regional theatre companies in roles such as Pirelli in SWEENEY TODD and Troy Richards in GAME SHOW. He also segued into film and TV recently and can be seen as the Dad in the EVIL LIVES HERE episode entitled āTed Bundy was his Idolā on ID Network, and as Sargent Kemper in the feature film WWII: OPERATION PHOENIX, which can be streamed on Amazon Prime. He is truly honored and humbled to be working with such an extraordinary cast in OTHELLO.
