Aislynn is thrilled to join the Davis Musical Theatre Company family and finally step onto the stage again after 15 years as Joanne. RENT became one of her favorite musicals the moment she saw the movie adaptation growing up, and she wanted to be in it ever since. The story of RENT, it's diverse cast of characters, and those iconic, powerhouse songs that she never gets tired of singing, always resonated deeply with her and she is thankful for the chance to perform in it. Outside of theatre, Aislynn's favorite roles include that of wife to her wonderful husband, Greg Ross, and mother to her two beautiful girls, Kaibri and Liffey. Oh, and mother to their many animals, including 14 chickens! She looks forward to continuing to hone her skills, grow her passion for performing, and having the opportunity to fill more dream roles in the future.

A comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and a dilemma that’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family whom her parents have never met. She confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Vincente is over the moon to reprise his dream role of Angel after recently appearing in RENT at the Ooley Theater. He is thrilled to return to DMTC where he made his stage debut in Legally Blonde. A pharmacist by day and a performer at heart, he also proudly sings with the Sacramento Gay Men’s Chorus. He sends gratitude to his loved ones for their unwavering support, and heartfelt thanks to this fabulous cast and creative team for bringing so much care to this production. He hopes audiences leave carrying a little of Angel’s magic, authenticity, generosity and radical joy and remember to celebrate life even in dire circumstances. Today 4 U, tomorrow for me!

Alexander has been performing for over 20 years. He has been in productions such as, West Side Story, Sister Act, Grease, Hairspray, The Wiz, and most recently Heathers. He has performed all over Sacramento, LA and now Davis. This is his first time performing with Davis Musical Theatre Company and is thrilled to play his dream role as Benny in RENT. He would like to thank everyone who has made this dream become a reality. Lastly, he would like to dedicate this show to his Uncle Gary.

Ivy Fitzgerald is thrilled to be playing Maureen! Monday through Friday, Ivy is a financial professional; but you can find her spreading magic with Glass Slipper Dream Parties on the weekends. Ivy has been a part of the greater Sacramento theatre community for the past 10 years and some of her favorite roles include Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show and Liz in Chicago. Outside of performing, her biggest passions are cooking and reading. Ivy would like to thank her husband Kevin and her amazing friends for their support during the beautiful chaos that is RENT!

After a six-year-long theatre hiatus, Evan is positively elated to be part of his first DMTC production as Mark Cohen, one of his bucket-list roles! His favorite past performances include Ralphie Parker in A Christmas Story (2014), The Cat in the Hat in Seussical (2017), and Julian Marsh in 42nd Street (2020). When not rehearsing, Evan works in gift administration at UC Davis and finds spare moments for cooking meals, writing fiction, and spoiling his mischievous tabby cat. He is grateful to his girlfriend, his parents, and his fellow cast & crew for their endless encouragement and graciousness throughout the whole process of bringing Rent to life!
