Pallas Projects/Studios The new Pallas Projects/Studios is an open space dedicated to the making and showing of visual art to a wide and diverse audience.

Pallas Projects/Studios is a not-for-profit artist-run organisation dedicated to the facilitation of artistic production, presentation and discourse, via the provision of affordable artists studios in Dublin's city centre, and curated projects. The vanguard of a DIY art methodology, via an array of spaces and projects spanning over 15 years in Dublin’s City Centre, PP/S is now relocated to a long–

term studios & projects complex in The Coombe. PP/S aims to be a beacon of cultural excitement in the locality, with an internationally recognised programme of projects and events. All are welcome and encouraged to visit and engage with our programme of contemporary art and artist–led practices.

30 years of Pallas Projects: Do It Together explores the impact and legacy of artist-run community-making: the role of the artist-led in creating communities of artists, and of working in and with their community settings. Phase I shares the work of PUBLICS (a curatorial and contemporary art commissioning agency with a dedicated library, and exhibition space in Vallila, Helsinki), and Muine Bheag Arts (an artist-run project based in Carlow). This will be followed in Phase II by contributions from Jennie Moran (Luncheonette, Dublin), and Kunsthal Gent (Belgium).

In parallel, a number of works collected over the years by Pallas’s artistic directors Mark Cullen & Gavin Murphy and curator Eve Woods (often swapped, gifted or exchanged) will be introduced at intervals throughout the run of the exhibition, alongside books, printed matter and other ephemera. A series of talks, events and screenings will accompany Phase II, alongside a free exhibition publication marking 30 years of Pallas Projects.

Both phases of the exhibition sit within a brand new commission by collaborative art practice Forerunner (Andreas Kindler von Knobloch, Tom Watt, and Tanad Aaron), which will feature a set of modular exhibition architecture, and an architectural intervention transforming the Pallas Projects gallery space.

We sat down with Seán Kelly aka DJ F*GGOT aka to chat about what drew him to start DJing, his passion for music and his thoughts on the OUTLET party in Pallas last month, which he helped to run in collaboration with .

D7’s finest, Seán Kelly aka DJ F*GGOT aka [DJ REDACTED] has been slaying traditional family values since 2023. As a high ranking member of both the Woke Mob and Rainbow Mafia, he has spent the last three years spreading the globohomo LGBTQIA+ agenda hard ‘n’ fast with his lubed-up all-inclusive multi-genre high BPM sele###ions as far as London, Glasgow and Barcelona.

Once you enter his Safe Space no genre is off limits; expect jersey club, donk, speed dembow, footwork, ghettotech, and jungle arse-peelers from beginning to end.

With supporting slots for international sensations DJ Y***K, Eugene McCauley, Surgeon, DJ Fu***ff, Rory Sweeney, U.R. Trax, and jamesjamesjames as well as a weekly residency at Bump Dublin, recent appearances at Electric Picnic and Fuinneamh, and international gigs in Barcelona, Glasgow,
and London under his belt, DJ F*GGOT is sowing seeds of excellence set after set with no signs of stopping. He is The Future That Liberals Want and the Burke family are powerless to stop him!

Watch our short interview with artist Dámhín Mckeown. Dámhín was part of the recent OUTLET Workers Exhibition, and we talked with him about his art, inspiration and artistic process.
Dámhín Mckeown is an interdisciplinary artist and culture worker based in Dublin, Ireland. His practice brings communities on the margins into the arts space through installation, curation, and driving collaborative, socially engaged projects.

Awards include the Spirit of Fringe Award for Fully Automated Luxury Gender Oasis (2018), an Arts Council Agility Award (2025), and an Artist Mentorship Award with Create, the national development agency for collaborative arts (2025).

We sat down for a chat with artist and curator Cristina Nicotra about her ongoing projects, artistic process and the inspiration behind her art as part of our OUTLET Workers Exhibition at Pallas.
Cristina Nicotra is an interdisciplinary artist, facilitator and curator based in Dublin. She explores the emotional, political, and ecological dimensions of human and more-than-human entanglements. Her practice reflects on novel, urban ecologies and the current polycrisis.

Recent practice includes the curatorial work in 2025, Earthbound Tales and the Entangled Life programme at Pallas Projects, Entanglement and Mint Tea itinerant gathering, 2026; Open fields participatory work at UCD, 2026; her Wild Cabbage performance at the Independent Fashion Designer Showcase, GalleryX, Dublin, 2024; Brigid with The Liberties Weavers, Pallas Projects, Dublin, 2024.

Short interview with artist Lana May Fleming, who was a part of our Workers Exhibition - OUTLET.

Lana May Fleming is a visual artist based in Dublin, her multidisciplinary practice examines the societal pressures that drive individuals to physically and digitally alter their bodies. Utilising performance through video the work explores themes of identity, autonomy and the impact of ever evolving beauty standards. Through a combination of satire and surreal visuals, the work often blurs the boundaries between critique and participation, engaging the audience in a dialogue around the tension between personal agency and societal expectation.

Fleming is a co-director of Temporary Address, an experimental nomadic art project; recently funded by Culture Ireland and Kulturforum. She is a recipient of the Fingal Residency Award with Mart Gallery and Studios and the IADT and Pallas Projects/Studios Mentorship Award (2020), Arts Council Visual Arts Bursary recipient (2024), awardee in ‘you breathe differently down here’, Draíocht (2022) and a Fingal County Council Artist Support Scheme recipient (2023-2025). Residencies: Kulturforum Witten, funded by Culture Moves Europe (2024), BEK, Norway (2022), and SíM, Iceland (2022). Solo exhibitions: Watering Hole, DIVA, Dublin (2022) and meat clown, aerial, Bergen, Norway (2022).
