Hours of work, in one picture, Truck Art.
This art dates back to the early 1920s and can be seen across South Asia. Unique to each truck, the art reflects the transporter's beliefs by displaying portraits, poetry, and calligraphy. With time, more details like Peacocks and Flying horses were added to make the artwork more appealing. This art has become a representation of Truck drivers' attachment to their trucks. The intricacies of this art are evident in the amount of time and effort spent on each work. Truck art is known as a "Folk piece of creativity" from Pakistan.
Here is my effort to recognise this unique art form. Swipe left to see more details.
