Market Hall and Aaron Goldstein & Friends are excited to present Time Fades Away: Neil Young at 80 on Saturday, July 18 at 8:00 PM. Noted Canadian performer and producer Aaron Goldstein (Kathleen Edwards, Junkhouse, Cowboy Junkies, City And Colour, Daniel Romano) reprises his role as musical director for this celebration of local Omemee legend Neil Young’s 80th birthday - mirroring the acclaimed sold-out concert staged at Massey Hall on Young’s birthday last Fall. Goldstein brings with him to Peterborough a cast of some of the country’s most in-demand players and the set will showcase guest performances from a cast of singers and recording artists from the region.

Confirmed special guests so far are Tom Wilson, Justin Rutledge , Jerry Leger, James McKenty, Bells Larsen, and The Redhill Valleys .

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our 50/50 draws this season!

We started with a shared goal of reaching $5,000 to invest directly back into the arts here in Peterborough while rewarding our amazing community. When we realized we were just $595 away with only three days left, we reached out and your response was incredible.

Together, we completely smashed our goal, raising a gross total of $6,100! Because of your generosity, we awarded a $1,200 prize to our winter raffle winner, and we are thrilled to share that we just awarded $1,850 to our spring winner, Carol!

Thank you for supporting local arts and for making this season such a resounding success.

Trent Valley Archives Theatre is excited to return for 2026 with "The Kid from Simcoe Street", a poignant, coming-of-age story about retired Ontario Superior Court Justice and prolific poet James Clarke, who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks in Peterborough, ON, during the Depression and Second World War.

This hometown production begins next week and runs through the weekend June 4 - 7, 2026. Ticket sales help to support the Trent Valley Archives.
