Running September 18 to October 3, 2026, Venus in Fur is directed by Lisa Dixon and produced by Kym Hyde. This bold, two-person production invites audiences into what appears to be a simple audition—but quickly evolves into a mesmerizing contest of power, performance, and perception.

When an actress arrives unexpectedly to audition for a new adaptation of a classic novel, an exhausted director reluctantly agrees to hear her read. What follows is anything but ordinary. As the rehearsal unfolds, the boundaries between actor and character begin to dissolve, shifting the balance of power in surprising and provocative ways. Equal parts psychological thriller, dark comedy, and theatrical puzzle, Venus in Fur keeps audiences guessing until its unforgettable conclusion.

Winner of the 2012 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play and nominated for Best Play, David Ives' modern classic has earned widespread critical acclaim for its brilliant dialogue, emotional complexity, and fearless exploration of storytelling, identity, and control.
