Melbourne Claddagh Dancers A social Irish Set Dancing group in Ivanhoe East, Melbourne, Australia We cater for all levels, from beginners to experienced dancers. All are welcome.

Melbourne Claddagh Dancers is a group of dance enthusiasts from all backgrounds, who meet to learn Irish sets for social set dancing, fun and enjoyment! Classes/dance sessions are held on two Sundays each month (usually the 2nd and 4th Sundays), from 2 – 5pm. No previous experience is necessary, you can start at any time, come regularly, or occasionally.

Thanks to everyone who came along to make the "Farewell to Claddagh" Ceili such a great success. The music by Renee, Gus and Mark was fantastic and we danced some favourite sets. It was wonderful that Ina and Graeme Bertrand, who launched Claddagh 30 years ago, were able to come down from Trentham so that we could personally thank them for their love of Irish Set Dancing, which led to regular classes in Melbourne and ultimately to the inception of Melbourne Claddagh Dancers. Irish Set Dancing in Melbourne is now much more wide spread so please keep keep dancing.

Kevin and Carol Monaghan came over from the UK to teach in Canberra and are
spending some time in Melbourne before going home.
It will be a great afternoon.
