Victorian State Ballet - Statement of Support to the Ukraine Nation”
"The Victorian State Ballet condemns Putin’s war of choice and attacks on the sovereign nation and people of Ukraine. All our artists and production team stand in support of the brave citizens of Ukraine in their heroic efforts to resist Russia’s invasion.
Our hearts go out to all the victims of war who died or are forced to live in exile. With our current production of Anastasia, we stand united in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and refugees of war including those Russian citizens persecuted for protesting against the tyranny of Putin’s government. As part of our efforts to make a difference, we are committed to contribute to the relief efforts to the Ukrainian Red Cross from the proceeds of Anastasia. " 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 #supportukraine

We warmly welcome our new artists to VSB! Introducing Benjamin Harris. Image by David Kelly. Benjamin commenced ballet training at the age of 8 in his hometown of Bendigo, Victoria. At the age of 13 he began to travel to Ballarat to take on extra classes as well as continuing training in Bendigo. In 2018 he commenced full time training in Melbourne, continuing there for 2 years before being accepted into Queensland Ballet pre-professional program for 2020. At
Queensland Ballet he had the opportunity to work with many world renowned teachers and choreographers on a number of new and established works which he found to be an invaluable experience.
