FLASHBACK FRIDAY (Public holiday edition)
🎥🌳🎬🐄☀️🎭🏕️💚

As I head back up to Walwa, Victoria for the long weekend I can’t help but think of “WINTER’S HILL” (2021). Another feature-length film I was able to create while running the Acting for Screen program at Action Drama Studio
PLOT: John Travers’, owner of the largest property in the rural town of Walwa Victoria, Travers Hill, hires a handful of young individuals to work on his farm for a few weeks. The group of young farm-hands take time to warm to each other but they soon open up to reconcile their differences and work together under the difficult conditions. Meanwhile, they uncover a secret on the farm that begins to tear the group apart…

Filming this in Walwa, a town I basically grew up in, was so special and a joy to share with my friends and students, who not only loved the location but treated the whole experience with care and kindness! Thank you always team and ADS! 💙🤠💚

And that’s a wrap on a month and a half of weekends in the bio box with Westside Calisthenics Comps 👯‍♀️🩰🫶

To every team, competitor and coach who hit the stage this season - MASSIVE CONGRATS! 🥳 🙌 From the best seat in the house, you were all incredible to watch!

Yes, I was up there dancing and vibing along to every routine, I just couldn’t help it, the energy was infectious and I had to be apart of it! Thank you for all the energy you and sass you sent straight up to me - I loved every bit of it!!!
I wish every team I worked with all the best for future comps and performances! I know you’ll smash every one!

Biggest thanks of all goes to the hard-working team at Westside Calisthenics Comps for all you do to make these competitions happen, for welcoming me into this world so warmly and for letting me be my quirky lighting tech self at every comp. I have had such a blast with you all.

Much love and till next time
Johno, the dancing lighting guy! ❤️💡🤩
