to 2003 and our first staging of Anne Nelson's The Guys starring Roz and Paul Potenza.

Days after 9/11, Joan, a New York City editor, is asking the same question Americans are asking everywhere: “what can I possibly do?” Then, she meets Nick, an FDNY captain who lost most of his men in the attack. He needs someone with the tools to help him craft the eulogies.

The afternoon meeting turns to evening, as Nick and Joan recall these ordinary guys: their humor, their faults, their passions. In the process, they discover the possibilities of friendship, their shared love for the unconquerable spirit of the city, and of course, the tango. They realize that the common thread that made these men extraordinary is the same merit that can help unite and heal us all: brotherhood.

The Guys is based on a true story.

Roz and Paul have performed this show numerous times times over the years, always as a fundraiser for charities (hospice, animal rescue, first responders). It was last performed in 2024 at and as a benefit for Tampa Fire Fighters Museum.

A Jobsite Season Pass is one of the best ways to experience everything we have planned for 26/27 while saving significantly compared to purchasing single tickets.

After a car accident leaves Paul injured and stranded, he wakes up in Annie’s secluded home. At first, it seems like a stroke of luck. She rescued him. She’s taking care of him. And she just happens to LOVE his books.

But when Annie discovers what Paul has done to her favorite character, things take a turn. A very, very bad turn.

Stephen King’s MISERY returns to Jobsite this fall, bringing obsession, suspense and a whole lot of tension to the Jaeb Theater.

"the Bard of Avon and the King of Horror have more in common than you might think" -- like being the first two writers on our 29th season, AND personal favorites of David Jenkins who will appear in both plays (MISERY, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING) on the Jaeb stage! A season pass is now on sale that can save you up to 80% off the price of buying shows one at a time.

When scholar Caroline Bicks gained unprecedented access to Stephen King's personal archives, she discovered that the Bard of Avon and the King of Horror have more in common than you might think. She talks about her discoveries and her book, "Monsters in the Archives: My Year of Fear with Stephen King" on the podcast. Listen at the link below ⬇️
