Experience yoga from a new perspective. Using an aerial hammock suspended from the ceiling, we will explore traditional yoga poses, and basic guided inversions. Together, we will build strength, flexibility, and body awareness. The hammock provides support while helping decompress the spine, improve mobility, and deepen stretches in a low-impact way. Expect a combination of breathwork, core strengthening, playful movement, and relaxation in the air.
No prior aerial or yoga experience is required. Arrive in comfortable clothing that covers the backs of the knees and underarms to prevent fabric burns.
Kim received her aerial yoga teacher training from Soulaira Aerial Yoga with guidance from Jennifer Livengood and Jessica Baker. She is looking forward to creating a space where people can connect inward, explore neuromuscular pathways, and foster an environment of self-care/community connection.
