For the 50 Horse Challenge, I will ride 50 different horses throughout the month. As I get closer to my trip to Las Vegas for the Miss Rodeo America Pageant, I’m also raising funds for my journey, while giving one lucky winner the chance to win half of the proceeds.

Let me explain. This will be the "Road to Miss Rodeo America 50/50 Drawing". Anyone can purchase a raffle entry for $5. At the end of the month, one winner will be selected, and the raffle proceeds will be split 50/50. Half will go to the winner, and the other half will support my final push toward the Miss Rodeo America Pageant.

If you have a horse you would like me to schedule, please reach out. If you would like to enter the drawing, I will include my Venmo and PayPal information below.(please add name and phone number into notes so I can add to list)

Here is the "rough" draft for some dates and arenas set for the 50-horse challenge. These might change slightly if complications arise. If you see a date and location close to you and you would like to add your horse to the list at that date, please let me know! The locations listed are able and open for anyone to haul into and bring their horses.

Here are some rules for the challenge.
- I can't ride the horses in spurs (even if they do better with them)
- I can't warm up the horse (if you are bringing a horse please be prepared to have them warmed up or ask to have someone warm them up for you)
- I have to ride 1 of the 3 set MRA patterns
- I have to ride a 1.5 minute freestyle pattern including the 4 elements, presentation run, lead change, stop and back.
- Horses can be ridden in any type of saddle, bit and reins
- A simple photo will be taken for each horse, then shared with their name, owner and what pattern I rode. These will be shared on MRO page and with the MRA scholarship committee.

Again, if you want to be added to any of these dates and locations, please reach out! Once you are on the list, I will send times so you don't have to sit for hours (unless you want to) Thank you to everyone who has offered horses!!!

As Miss Rodeo Oregon, I am preparing for the Miss Rodeo America Pageant and participating in the 50 Horses Challenge. During September, I hope to ride more than 50 horses to strengthen my horsemanship skills and prepare for MRA. There is a random drawing for contestants who participate for a chance at a $1,000 scholarship.

If you have a horse I could ride, or know someone who may be willing to help, please reach out! I’ll be traveling to rodeos and events throughout Oregon, and parts of Washington and Idaho during September and would love to fit your horse into my schedule.

Miss Rodeo America Pageant Application: Submitted!

I am so excited to share that my official contestant application for the 2027 Miss Rodeo America Pageant has been turned in! Stay tuned for the release of all the contestants’ headshots and more. The pageant will be held November 28 through December 6 in Las Vegas Nevada!

2026 Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo and the Horse Heaven Round Up!

This rodeo is always a favorite of mine and I was so excited I got to have my parents join me for this trip! The first part of the trip was the Royalty Luncheon where we had a very competitive game of rodeo queen bingo and enjoyed bottomless Shirley temples!

Friday night was Visiting Royalty night at the rodeo and I was so happy I got to ride my good friend Lexi Hagin’s horse Joe for royalty serpentine, followed by the grand entry run in and then got to help push cows during the rodeo and ride in the barrel truck. After the rodeo I signed SO many autographs it was amazing to see the turn out!

This morning I got to enjoy time at the Rascal Rodeo and help with over 150 participants! I’ve always loved getting to volunteer for these rodeos and events and love that they give back to youth across the country! Make sure to check out their grant going on right now for 17-23 year old graduates! I also brought along with me over 100 belt buckles to donate to the Rascal Rodeo organization for awards for all participants! If you have extra buckles laying around and want them to go to a good home contact Rascal Rodeo or message me and I can deliver them to the next rodeo I go to!

Happy National Dog Day!

I love my horses and my 3-legged cat, but I can't forget my best friend to the end of time, Biscuit! Tiny dog, is never far from my side whether I'm riding my motorcycle and she's on the gas tank with me, or riding the back of Kermit on a trail, she always is right where I need her! I'm so thankful for her in my life and couldn't imagine life without her! (If only I could fit her in my bags when I travel)
