I am saddened and strengthened by all the people of Minneapolis who are organizing and continuing to wake up and unite.
This time of year, my son and I make Valentines- little ceramic heart dishes he glazes to give out with some candy. I made extra this year for a workshop.
With current events, I have been struggling with promoting it or promoting any art I’ve made or like.
In times like these, I look to art for help—another way to express and process feelings and grief. I know art is important for us all, and the workshop I’m doing is open to all to hopefully work through some of the challenges we’re facing or just be present and doing something that feels good.
