'Learning to Unlearn One’s Learning' by Emily Kepulis () for that's currently on view through July 18th at Chefas Projects. Watercolor, gouache, colored pencil, wax pastel on canvas, 30 x 24 inches.

Through subtle alterations of scale, proportion, and placement, Kepulis transforms familiar landscapes and objects into sites of perceptual inquiry, inviting viewers to reconsider the ways reality is continuously constructed through memory, expectation, association, and collective agreement.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our opening receptions last Friday! It's always a joy seeing everyone ✨ And a special congratulations to Emily Kepulis | for yet another stunning solo exhibit and to Emma Gerig | .gee for a beautiful debut at the gallery!

FRIDAY! We're excited to welcome artist Emma Gerig | @.gee for her debut exhibition at the gallery with ✨

"My work examines diffidence through narrative. I paint stories that are parables in essence, largely informed by soft moments such as the desire to touch feathers or fur––the mystery and infinity that exists in a sticky world––the in/between things that happen around our notable experiences. The limbs I depict are a complication of the animal forms; a symbol of both the desire to be loved existing parallel to the intrusion of care."
