Unicorn Theatre enhances the Kansas City community by developing and producing high-quality, thought-provoking plays that have never been seen in the region. Sound Mandala begins this week! Step inside the sound.
100 loudspeakers surround you completely… music swirling above you, beside you, through you. This is what sound feels like when it moves. Sound Mandala is a one-of-a-kind immersive audio experience running this summer at the Unicorn Theatre in Kansas City. Three distinct programs, each approximately 50-60 minutes, with multiple performances daily Tuesday through Sunday. Tickets are $30 and seats are intentionally limited (only 40 per show) so every performance feels intimate and immediate. Congratulations to Artistic Director Ernie Nolan who was voted Best Local Actor (Live Theater) in Kansas City Magazine's BEST OF KC 2026 honors. In addition to directing three shows next season, Ernie will also be acting in THE RITZ.
