Meet the cast of MRS. CHRISTIE:

KCAT Ensemble Member Hillary Clemens co-stars as the Queen of Mystery herself, Agatha Christie. Hillary has been seen with KCAT in UNCLE VANYA, DIAL M FOR MURDER, LITTLE WOMEN, A DOLL'S HOUSE, and more. Hillary has performed locally with the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival and the KC Rep.

Dri Hernaez co-stars as Lucy, a devoted Agatha Christie fan. Dri made her KCAT debut earlier this year in EVERYBODY, and has been seen locally with the Unicorn, KC Rep, and more.

KCAT Ensemble Member Logan Black returns to KCAT's stage as Archie, Agatha's husband. Logan has appeared in KCAT's productions of DEATHTRAP, TROUBLE IN MIND, SPIDER'S WEB, THE PESTS, KING LEAR, and more. He has been seen locally with the Unicorn, KC Rep, and more.

Peggy Friesen returns to KCAT's stage as Jane, a Miss Marple-like spinster and Agatha Christie fanatic. Peggy has been seen on KCAT's stage in GRAND HORIZONS, MORNING'S AT SEVEN, THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN, and many more. Peggy has appeared with the Unicorn, KC Rep, American Heartland Theatre, The Living Room and more.

KCAT Ensemble Member Tyler Lindquist makes his KCAT mainstage debut as William, an Agatha Christie scholar in 2026 and Collins, Agatha's publisher in 1926. Tyler recently appeared in KCAT's staged reading of THOMAS HART BENTON: SCENES FROM THE HEARTLAND, and has been seen locally with the KC Rep, Heart of American Shakespeare Festival, and the Black Repertory Theatre.

Eric Palmquist returns to KCAT's stage as Monsieur, the world's greatest detective. Eric has been seen on KCAT's stage in THE LEHMAN TRILOGY and SPIDER'S Web, as well as locally with the Unicorn, the Coterie, KC Rep, and more.

Meet the cast of MRS. CHRISTIE:

Erdin Schultz-Bever makes her KCAT mainstage debut as Charlotte, Agatha's secretary and Mary, a hotel maid. Erdin has previously appeared in KCAT's staged reading of SWOPE in 2025 and on Kansas City Actors Radio Theatre. Erdin has been seen locally with The Coterie, Music Theater Heritage, KC Public Theatre, and more!

Lauren K. Smith appears as Nancy, Agatha's husband's mistress and Chloe, a relative of Agatha's best friend. Lauren makes her KCAT debut in MRS. CHRISTIE, but can be seen locally as an writer/performer with the KC Fringe Festival and on stage with KC Public Theatre.

Meet the Playwright of MRS. CHRISTIE:

Heidi Armbruster is a theatre artist dedicated to creating new work and discovering new approaches to classical literature and theatre.

As an actress, Heidi has extensive New York and regional theatre credits, including TIME STANDS STILL on Broadway, Lincoln Center's production of the Pulitzer Prize winning play DISGRACED, and the New York premieres of Sam Hunter's LEWISTON/CLARKSTON, Anna Ziegler's BOY, Tracy Letts' MAN FROM NEBRASKA, and Theresa Rebeck's POOR BEHAVIOR.

Heidi's play MURDER GIRL received its world premiere at Forward Theater in Madison, Wisconsin after workshops at Forward Theater, Third Avenue Playworks, KC Rep, Red Caravan, and The Playwriting Collective. Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival commissioned Heidi to adapt the novel THE MURDER OF ROGER ACKROYD by Agatha Christie, which received its world premiere in their 2024 season after workshops in its summer development program. Her other plays include DAIRYLAND (Playmaker's Rep, Chautauqua Theater Festival); SCARECROW (Next Act, Dorset Theatre Festival Vermont Public Theater); and THE BOYS FROM BARABOO (Next Act - Fall 2026).

MRS. CHRISTIE received its west coast premiere at Theatreworks Silicon Valley, after receiving its world premiere at Dorset Theatre Festival. Recent productions incude Milwaukee Rep/Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and The McCarter.

Heidi was a member of Page 73 Interstate Writers, the Working Farm at Space on Ryder Farm, and a founding member of Women Artists Writing. Heidi splits her time between Brooklyn and Milwaukee. Heidi received her MFA in Acting from American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.
