Thank you to Shirley & Barnett C. Helzberg, Jr. for being our presenting sponsors for our 39th Annual Gala with Sutton Foster!

Our Annual Benefit Gala is one of our most important events, highlighting Starlight’s mission-based programs and bringing the community together in celebration of the arts.

Each year, funds raised through Gala enable us to impact the lives of 60,000 local residents through education and community engagement programs, bring world-class Broadway productions and concerts to more than 320,000 patrons, and sustain this cultural landmark for generations to come.

Thank you for your support of Starlight!

Live events during our outdoor season take an enormous team to pull off. There are too many people to thank, but let's try. Thank you to our Starlight staff, our volunteer ambassadors, our seasonal/part-time crew, board members, donors, season ticket holders, and every patron who walked through our gates. Art isn't made alone. Thank you for making it with us. 💙

Thank you to our friends at Zum by Indigo Wild, Q39, and The Roasterie Kansas City's Coffee Company for generously donating items for our backstage welcoming table!

We lay out a table to welcome in actors, band members, crew, and other touring professionals to some of our favorite Kansas City brands. A small way to say "Welcome to Starlight, and welcome to Kansas City!"

What a NIGHT!

TLC, Salt N Pepa, En Vogue, Spinderella, and DJ Dubz put on a showstopping performance to mark the final concert of the 2026 Capitol Federal Concert Series.

Even a bit of rain couldn't stop a packed audience of Kansas Citians dancing and singing along to hit after hit after hit.

Wow. A show for the history books here! We'll be talking about this one for a looooong time.
