Starlight Theatre is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Swope Park that connects the Kansas City community through live arts experiences that entertain, inspire, and engage. Starlight Theatre Association is dedicated to producing, presenting and promoting excellence in musical theatre and the performing arts for diverse audiences of all ages, with continued programming for families and children.

Starlight strives to enrich our region for all residents and visitors by building appreciation for the performing arts, making live theatre and music affordable and accessible, providing superior theatre arts education and community outreach programs, and delivering exceptional customer service. Starlight will remain a beloved Kansas City cultural tradition by devoting resources to preserving and enhancing our home venue in Swope Park and creating new memories for generations to come.

Hey Starlight it’s Ryaan Farhadi again! A lot of y’all have asked about vocal warm ups and how we prepare ourselves for the show. I made this video a month ago when I was going on for my understudy track in another city to give a glimpse of what that process sounds like! My daily warm up for a typical Worker 5 show sounds a lot like this, but with more physical warm ups and stretching incorporated due to the heavy dance and lift requirements of that track. All of the Workers cover other tracks in the show as well, so our vocal preparation is just as important as the physical fitness and stamina required for a typical show and everybody has warm ups that work best for their own voices. - Student/military rush tickets in-person the day of a performance.
- Performances on the Spotlight Stage
- Build-your-own carnation stations

- Healthcare Industry Night, healthcare workers get 20% off.
