A home run of a one-of-a-kind feature for your residence or commercial project by BERDOLL SAWMILL. Based in central Texas, Brandon Berdoll, wood artisan, is well known for producing some of the largest live edge slabs in the country.
During the WDC he will unveil an extraordinary Texas pecan table measuring 7 feet wide by 19 ½ feet long, crafted from a single slab of wood weighing at 1,220 lbs.
Joining the table are the “Texas Twins,” two monumental, throne-like wood sculptures salvaged from one of the largest pecan trees in Texas. Together, these three works known as the “Texas Trio” celebrate scale, provenance, craftsmanship, and the natural character of Texas-grown wood.

Saturday, August 8 at 2PM, Brandon will present an AIA-accredited course also open to the public where he will explain, step by step, how he converts standing trees into high-quality live edge slabs and why each step matters.
