Some artists leave behind more than their work, they leave a way of seeing the world.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of two Western Design Conference award-winning artists, Ryder Gauteraux and Jenny Booth. While their creative voices could not have been more different, each embodied the spirit of the artist; pushing boundaries, honoring craft, and bringing something wholly original into the world.

Their work, their vision, and their presence have shaped this community in lasting ways. Loss like this is felt across the entire creative landscape.

We send our love, strength, and healing to their families, friends, and all who were touched by their lives and work.

Their legacy lives on in the pieces they created, and in the inspiration they leave behind.
