The Summerside Arts Fest is right around the corner, and our friends at Culture Summerside have a fantastic, paid opportunity for local creators.

They’re looking for makers of all backgrounds and mediums to set up under the big tent on lower Spring Street for Art Alley this July. The whole idea is "artists at work"—so you get to show off your process, chat with the community, and be part of a bustling weekend alongside Classic Car Nights and the Farmers Market.

Whether you've been working with them for years or you're brand new to the local scene, they want to hear from you.

The deadline to apply is next Friday, June 5th. You can fill out the application online, pop into the Lefurgey Cultural Center for a paper copy, or head over to the Wyatt Heritage Properties website to get all the details.

Calling all Summerside Area Artists!

In preparation for Summerside Arts Fest being hosted across the community from June 8 - July 4, 2026, we invite you to submit an application related to the festival's Art Alley activity.

Similar to last year, Art Alley is taking place under the big tent on lower Spring Street. This year's dates are Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4.

The focus of the Art Alley is artists at work. Artists must be able to demonstrate their work and engage with the public to explain their medium and practice. The event is in partnership with Classic Car Nights and the Summerside Farmer's Market.

This is a paid opportunity. Spots are limited and will be curated to ensure a mix of artists for each shift. You will be contacted by Culture Summerside staff with further information after submitting your application.
