A HUGE thank you to Vanessa! She has been such a valuable part of our team, even though she technically didn’t have to be! Busy with other shows she still took the time to do our program, teach our new stage manager how to do her job, and more! We felt that you should meet her too, so… Meet Vanessa! Vanessa has been stage Manager for Cubby Bear and the Adventure Home (Arctic Star Theatre), Godspell, Mary Poppins (8th Ave Players), Dear Jack Dear Louise, Black Comedy, and The 39 Steps (Seaside Theatre Co). Production Assistant for Little Women (8th Ave Players), Lettice & Lovage, and The Mousetrap (Seaside Theatre Co). Aunt March in Little Women (8th Ave Players).
She graduated from Holland College in 2017 as a cabinetmaker and has since been employed in her field with Tops to floors. “I am thrilled to be working behind the scenes with the Seaside Theatre Company again for this show. They are such an amazing group of people that are endlessly talented and passionate. I hope you all can see how our hard work has paid off, and enjoy the show!” Thanks a million Vanessa! Seaside Theatre presents Peter Shaffer’s riotous comedy, Lettice and Lovage. In this long running West End play, we meet two characters who at first are at polar opposites: Lettice Douffett, the flamboyant tour guide who is not above adding some “interesting” facts to her tours, and staid Lotte Schoen, her boss who believes that facts are facts, no matter how boring. The two nevertheless form an unlikely friendship over a shared disdain for bland modern society, and together they plot against it, with unintended results! A hilarious play with two wonderful roles, Maggie Smith and Margaret Tyzack earned Tony Awards for playing these characters.

Seaside Theatre Company is based out of the Scott MacAulay Performing Arts Centre in Summerside. The company aims to “build community through theatre” by drawing on the many talents found throughout the Island, and by presenting a wide variety of theatrical productions for both audiences and participants to experience.

Tickets are $25.00 all in and are available through our box office either in person or by calling 902 436 5377 or online at https://tproatlantic.ticketpro.ca/en/pages/1680149069?aff=cpac

Meet Evan! Evan is thrilled to return to the stage in his first appearance with Seaside Theatre! Recent credits include Sweet Dreams! (Rogue Productions), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (Blind Faith Productions), and Spring Awakening (St. Thomas University). He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (UNB) and spends his chaotic time offstage playing D&D and drinking too much coffee (usually both). A big shout out to the cast and crew of Lettice and Lovage. Hope you enjoy the show! Grab your tickets! https://tproatlantic.ticketpro.ca/en/pages/1680149069?aff=cpac
