You only have four more days to catch this "surreal procedural" before it slips beneath the waves for good.

𝙄𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙝𝙨, 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙊𝙬𝙣 𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩

𝘿𝙚𝙚𝙥𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 follows RCMP Inspector Questa Bennett as she investigates a mysterious cold case involving a reclusive marine biologist whose young daughter went missing four years ago.

At its core, this 2024 Playwrights Guild of Canada Drama Award winner is a bold new work that questions the unknowable nature of life as two mothers strive to navigate a world so bizarre that it gives us creatures like the octopus - brilliant, yet deceptive - as well as the anglerfish - forsaken, yet misunderstood.

Through this raw, challenging, and hopeful story, Deepwater explores the various ways that we - like much deep-sea life - must create our own light when we feel the most lost.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗗𝗼 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗜𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗳?

A country house. A family stretched thin. A lifetime of love, resentment, and unrealized dreams simmering just below the surface.

Canadian theatre legend, and Cape Breton's own, Daniel MacIvor brings to life multiple characters in Simon Stephens' radical new version of Anton Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya.

In this razor-sharp adaptation, the quiet desperation of ordinary lives takes centre stage. When a celebrated professor and his younger wife descend on a rural estate, long-buried frustrations erupt. Vanya, who has sacrificed his life to support the household, begins to question everything: his choices, his purpose, and whether it’s too late to want more.

In turns funny, furious, and heartbreakingly tender, Vanya is a gripping, intimate drama for anyone who has ever felt stuck, restless, or quietly longing for change.

Step into the world of the March family with Anne-Marie Casey’s beautifully crafted stage adaptation of Little Women, a faithful and emotionally rich re-telling of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel.

Set during the American Civil War, this compelling drama follows the unforgettable March sisters - independent Jo, responsible Meg, gentle Beth, and ambitious Amy - as they come of age amid love, loss, hope, and hardship.

An adaptation full of all the warmth, wit, and emotional depth fans of the original story would expect, Little Women is a powerful theatrical experience not to be missed.
