Hello everyone. I have been quiet on here lately. If I’m being honest I’ve been struggling with sharing. I think most artists can relate to this in regard to socials at some point on their artistic journey. I paint a lot and I love to do it but I don’t want to drench your feeds with my work. I paint because I love it, it’s my passion and outlet but I also paint for a living so I do need to market myself and I think we can all agree socials is how we market ourselves today.
When I was a woodworker I did “Sunday Shares” and this allowed me to market my product and people knew when to expect it and I never worried about over posting. I will be doing the same with my art moving forward.
If I’m being honest, I’ve really been enjoying less time on my devices and more time in the studio. On the other hand I know I have some wonderful supporters that have been following my work from the beginning that enjoy seeing my art and I will continue to share for them….I appreciate you all and I look forward to sharing what I’ve been up to on Sunday with you.
