We love our locals, and we want to celebrate more milestones with you—starting with your birthday 🥳

Now, any New Mexico resident can come in on their birthday and enjoy a painted pottery experience on us—including the price of one bisqueware piece and a beverage of your choosing, too!

Ready to learn? Our November calendar is full of great offerings for folks of all skill levels.

If you're new to pottery, our six-week wheel classes are a great introduction to the entire process, from shaping a vessel all the way through trimming, glazing, and firing. Or, try our beginner-friendly combo class with Judi, where you'll be introduced to both the wheel and handbuilding techniques like coiling and rolling slabs.

Already have some experience under your belt? We have two specialty wheel classes for those ready to dive deeper. Our two-week intensive with Carolyn and our three-session cylinders class with Travis are two great ways to refine technique and develop your creative voice as a ceramic artist.

But wait, there's more! We have offerings for kiddos looking to play with clay, including our Fall Break Camp and our next round of Mud Mates, where caretakers can create right along with their youngsters.

Or, if you've been itching to experience the magic of raku, join us on Saturday the 21st to fire and decorate a piece you can take with you that very same day.

We're excited to be part of tomorrow's Weird Science Halloween Bash at Santa Fe Children's Museum 🎃

Come on by the museum from 3-6pm to play with some airdry clay and learn the basics of handbuilding with a team of our wonderful volunteers! You'll be able to take your creations home with you, too. Costumes are encouraged 👻

We so enjoyed having a full studio for our recent Objects of Devotion workshop with Lyn Belisle the past two weekends. The creativity was flowing, the conversation was dynamic, and many amazing pieces came together at the end. Ready to roll up your sleeves and get serious about growing your throwing skills? Well, you’re in luck: We’re excited to be offering our first Intensive Class with Carolyn, our incredible (and incredibly efficient) production potter, later this fall.

What’s an intensive class? A 6-session curriculum that takes place over just two weeks. Each week has three 2.5-hour consecutive evening classes (Tue–Thu), giving you the unique opportunity to build larger, more intricate pieces while keeping your work at the ideal stage between sessions. And with Carolyn leading the class, you can count on getting personalized feedback to better help you grow in the ways you’re most wanting.

Want to experience the magic of Raku pottery for yourself? Join us for a workshop!

We offer horsehair and glaze reduction-firing Raku at our studio every third Friday of the month. Over the course of three hours, you'll learn about the history of Raku, the different firing methods, decorate a piece of your own, and take it home with you at the end.

We wanted to extend a heartfelt *thank you* to everyone who came out to our October First Friday Throw Down benefitting 's Tierra Nueva Counseling Center.

Not only did we have a fantastic time getting our hands good and dirty—with your support we managed to raise more than $550 to support the critical work of providing affordable, patient-centric mental health care in Northern New Mexico 🙌

It's such a joy to be able to give back to our community this way. So, thank you, TNCC team, for all you do, and to everyone who turned up, donated, and put a smile on our faces. We hope to see you at our next Throw Down in November!
