There’s something refreshing about watching someone who seems completely comfortable being exactly who they are.

Dolly Parton has always had the humor, the hair, the talent, and the larger-than-life personality. But underneath all of it is something even more compelling: security in herself.

She doesn’t seem interested in pretending she’s something she isn’t. She can laugh at herself, tell the truth about herself, and somehow be both incredibly confident and incredibly humble at the same time.

That kind of authenticity is hard to fake.

Maybe being secure isn’t about having nothing to be insecure about. Maybe it’s simply reaching the point where you no longer need to pose.

Secrets have a funny way of convincing us they’re protecting us or others.

The 'truth' is - keeping secrets only makes things worse...it just takes longer for the consequences to come (and they generally come worth interest).

Keeping secrets is a heavy business. If you wanna lighten up life, try telling the whole truth...without performing, minimizing, or cleaning it up. Allow the chips to fall where they may. The truth shall set you free.

Trusting God is a pretty damn good place to start.

Turns out, truth is the antidote! Now, isn't that inspiring?

Sometimes the biggest victim wins.

Not because they've been hurt the most, but because victim status can become an excuse from accountability.

Realistic marketing goals for a Monday.

Could I create thoughtful, polished, highly educational mental health content every day? Absolutely and it'd get boring quick.

Could I also make a therapy meme with Ken from Barbie?

Also absolutely and I'd be able to do it for decades.

Mental health is serious. Aaand we don’t have to be serious all the time.
