Calling all Post Rock peeps, and also anyone familiar with the music scene in Brazil, I need your help!
There's a band/artist out of Sao Paulo called Rain Once Again, and I need more information about them.
Their Bandcamp releases go back to OCT of 2025, but they got onto my radar with 'Nostalgia', released in APR of this year. JUL and SEP have provided additional album releases, which begs the question...like...how?
I've attempted contact via Bandcamp multiple times, but no reply.
I really want to make sure I don't inadvertently play music via AI on my show, but the Internet contains virtually no information about this artist.
No name(s) attached, no picture of some folks huddled around a coffee table in a practice studio, nothing.
If it *IS* AI, well, fooled me because there's some fantastic stuff in there.
'Peacefulness' from Eclipse and 'Light at the End of the Tunnel' from Magenta are bloody fantastic.
I want to talk more about them on air, give a name, scheduled shows, etc, but there's nada.
So, please, FB folks, help me. Help me find out that there's at least one human and no AI behind Rain Once Again so I can enjoy what I'm hearing with a full heart.
Kthxbye.
