✨ Inspiration Friday ✨

"Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree."
— Emily Brontë

Brontë met the falling season with joy instead of sorrow — a lovely way to say goodbye to October. And today downtown 🎃 A BOO-tiful Downtown Halloween: kids’ trick-or-treating starts at noon (look for the orange pumpkin signs), with fun & games at Veterans Community Plaza, 2–4 PM.

✨ Wisdom Wednesday ✨

Today’s stone: Obsidian 🖤 — the volcano’s glass.

Obsidian forms when silica-rich lava cools so quickly that crystals never have time to grow, leaving natural glass. It breaks in smooth, curved conchoidal fractures that can leave an edge sharper than steel, which is why people around the world shaped it into blades and arrowheads for thousands of years. California has famous flows of its own, like Glass Mountain in the Medicine Lake Highlands.

Dark, glossy, and made for spooky season.

Come see it gleam — visit us in beautiful Los Altos, CA!

Raw chunk, sphere, or carving — how do you like your obsidian? Tell us below 💎
