Gallery 9 serves as the oldest art gallery in Los Altos. It was originally established in 1970 in Menlo Park by a cooperative group of 9 artists — hence its name. 1973 Gallery 9 moved to it´s beautiful location on Main Street in Downtown Los Altos. Today’s membership now stands at about thirty and consists of a diverse group of talented local artists who work in various media.

Judi Keyani - Changing the Subject
Works on Paper

Join us for the Opening Reception on First Friday, September 4th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., to meet the artist and enjoy refreshments.

This group of paintings and drawings by Judi Keyani includes work both current and earlier, all of them done on paper supports. Many of the works here have not been exhibited at Gallery 9 before. Judi explains, ”The subjects are changing because I am interested in all genres: figures, landscapes, and still lifes. Those included here are ones I believe are especially successful in the imagery on paper, and I’m very pleased to present them all together.”
