Humans of Shakespeare staff feature of the week: Alexander!

Meet Alexander Zaretsky, Shakespeare & Company’s Development Strategist, who has been helping build the future of the Company since joining the team in 2017. Before coming to the Berkshires, Alex held senior fundraising roles with organizations including American Ballet Theatre, Carnegie Hall, and Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Outside of Shakespeare & Company, Alex serves as Executive Director of Tom Gold Dance. He holds degrees from Northwestern University and the University of Edinburgh—and when he’s not working to support the arts, you might find him logging miles: Alex has completed six marathons and seven half marathons!

We’re grateful to have Alex helping champion the artists, programs, and community that make Shakespeare & Company possible.
