It’s been one crazy, exciting, nonstop, amazing year for Proteus and Chorus! With only a few days left in the school year, we wanted to take a moment to look back at the whirlwind that was the 2023-2024 school year.
This year we:
- hosted PHS’s very own Haunted House
- participated in Fall Fest with Shake & Co for our second year
- put on four (!) full productions over the course of the year (As You Like It, The Dream of the Burning Boy, Lost Girl, and Chicago: Teen Edition)
- continued to participate in Calliope Cafes at the Stationery Factory
- held our second public performance in the Black Box Theatre with The Dream of the Burning Boy
- performed in 3 concerts and at the Pittsfield Tree Lighting
- performed at the PHS Open House
- performed for a group of 8th grade students for Music in Our Schools Month
- held the fan favorite Dance Class with Summer during Advisory throughout the year
- had the opportunity to see A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Shakespeare & Company
- collaborated with our friends in Band again for the return of a live pit for our spring musical
- performed at Graduation at Tanglewood
- closed out the year with our Annual Talent Showcase
Needless to say we’ve been busy! But we’ve had so much fun along the way and are already looking forward to next year. Announcements about next year’s season will be made in the coming weeks. We can’t wait to see you back in the PHS theatre next year!
