At the infusion center getting (hopefully 🤞🏼) my LAST dose of antibiotics!! 🥹❤️

I’m so thankful for the incredible doctors and medical team who have made it possible for me to be HOME healing while coming in weekly for check-ins, and medication. Being able to recover at home instead of spending more time in the hospital has truly been a game changer for me.

It’s been a long road, but I’m feeling GREAT and really hoping today closes this chapter. 🥹🙌🏼❤️

My walls are looking empty at the gallery!

When I created the characters for Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program, we named this little bird Lafitte. Not long after, one of the BTNEP employees reached out and told me that her cat is ALSO named Lafitte! 😂

She commissioned me to paint the two of them together.. I think these two were meant to be best friends. 🥹 🐦 🐱

The final reveal of the hallway… for now!

This white hallway has been calling my name for years!

So I started painting some of our favorite memories.. the places we’ve been, things we love, little inside jokes, special moments, and pieces of our story that probably wouldn’t mean anything to anyone else. 😂❤️

And my favorite part is that I purposely left plenty of room.

Room for trips we haven’t taken yet.
Memories we haven’t made yet.
Little moments we don’t even know are coming.

Over the years, I’ll just keep adding to it. 🥹

I think that’s what I love most about it.. it’ll never really be “finished.” It’ll grow right along with us. ❤️

I’ll share some of the back stories on these walls soon!
