✨ WELCOME TO THE LAB: TAYA BASSIR ✨

We are beyond hyped to officially announce that Taya Bassir is joining The LAB faculty for the upcoming competition season! 🧪🔥

Taya isn’t just joining the team; she’s bringing a powerhouse resume that blends technical precision with elite leadership. With 11 years of competitive studio training under her belt, she knows the grit it takes to shine under the bright lights. Plus, her experience as a Drill Team Captain and Officer means she’s bringing that “captain energy” and sharp-as-a-knife clean style to our choreography! 📐💃

When she’s not refining lines in the studio, Taya is a student at the University of Utah studying Elementary Education and Human Development. Her heart for teaching is huge—she truly believes working with kids is the absolute best part of her day. 🍎🙌

THE TAYA FILE: 🥤 Fuel: Mountain Dew (The LAB runs on caffeine!) 🐢 Spirit Animal: Turtle 💙 Aura: Blue 🎶 Vibe: Any song, any genre—she loves it all!

We are beyond thrilled to welcome Tyler Bach to the LAB Dance Studio family! Tyler brings an incredible blend of professional experience, competitive success, and dynamic energy that truly elevates our program.

Originally dancing professionally and competitively in Chicago, Tyler has performed at major cultural events including the renowned “Taste of Korea” festival. His talent and dedication have earned him top honors, including placing ** #1 among all male dancers at the 2025 IHSA Dance State Championship**, along with multiple 1st and 2nd place finishes in solo competitions. He has also received numerous awards recognizing his outstanding stage presence—something you’ll immediately feel when you see his work.

Tyler specializes in hip-hop and pom, styles that fuse strong technical foundations with high-energy performance and crowd engagement. His choreography is not only fun and expressive but also designed to help dancers build confidence, precision, and individuality.

He is passionate about sharing his knowledge, creativity, and love for dance with every student who walks through our doors. Whether you’re looking to grow technically, perform with confidence, or simply have an amazing time dancing, Tyler brings an experience you won’t want to miss.
