Sorry for the long delay in posting. Three weeks ago I had back surgery. I was doing well on the road to recovery. I was almost at my two week mark. Then things took a turn for the worse. I became gravely ill. A visit to the ER last Sunday turned into a four day hospital stay and a second surgery to open up the wound an clean up staph infection. It’s been a very long and painful week for me. This picture is my set up every day, every eight hours around the clock. Even though it is not fun, I would not be alive today without it. My husband Scott has been trained how to inject the medication. He has been wonderful and so loving and patient with me. I so appreciate all he is doing for me. Thank you to the nurses and doctors at McKay Dee Hospital for being there for me. It is a wonderful hospital if you ever need one. Thank you to friends and family for all the prayers and food brought to my house. Your kindness means so much and I am truly grateful. We are down one week of strong antibiotics entered into through a pic line. I have 5 more weeks to go. I am hoping to feel up to posting pictures soon!

I just got back from a wonderful trip to Alaska. It was great to meet my newest granddaughter and spend time with her family. I also loved spending one on one time with my daughter Meghan and one on one time with my son Derek. I look forward to sharing my Alaskan adventures with you! ❤️

Wailua Falls photo illustration. Taken a few years back on our trip to Kauai. So far this is my favorite island. I would go back in a heartbeat. There is so much nature to see and explore. My husband and I enjoy visiting the different Hawaiian islands. I am patiently waiting our next trip next year to the big island!

The Hawaiian islands are so incredibly beautiful! Each island is different from the next. This was taken on Mauai at sunset from the Haleakala volcano summit. Believe it or not it was really cold and they are not kidding when they tell you to pack a coat in your luggage along with swimsuits and shorts! It is well worth the drive at sunrise or sunset. These were the cutest pumpkins in the patch last week . We were missing a few more little pumpkins that moved to Alaska this year. Love them all! We certainly have enjoyed visiting McFarland Family Farms over the past 3 years. It is the perfect size patch for our little ones with plenty for them to keep busy with while you search a variety of small to large pumpkins. The prices cannot be beat! So much to choose from at an affordable price. Thanks for a safe family outing! 🍁
