Calling all South Carolina artists 🎨🌊

This summer, Stormwater Studios is partnering with for Building Bridges Through Art, a community exhibition inspired by the theme “Clean Water, Healthy Rivers”.

Artists are invited to explore the environmental, cultural, and recreational importance of the Broad, Lower Saluda, and Congaree Rivers through their work while helping spark conversations about conservation, stewardship, and the future of our waterways.

📅 Submission deadline: June 10
🖼 Exhibition dates: July 8–19
🥂 Opening reception: July 16

The Vista is turning up the energy for 🌈✨

Hosted by Famously Hot SC Pride, this annual Pride Month celebration brings live entertainment, drag performances, local vendors, food, drinks, and community to the heart of downtown Columbia. 💃🏽🎶🍴

The celebration kicks off with Pride festivities at the Visitors Center before Outfest takes over Park Street for an all-day celebration filled with music, performances, dancing, shopping local vendors, and nonstop energy in the heart of The Vista. 🌈

Tucked into the Vista, Memorial Park serves as a place to reflect, remember, and honor those who served our country 🇺🇸

The park is home to more than 10 memorials and monuments honoring veterans and servicemen from multiple generations, including tributes to Pearl Harbor, the USS Columbia, South Carolina Vietnam veterans, Korean War veterans, Gold Star Families, and more.

This Memorial Day, take a moment to visit Memorial Park and reflect on the sacrifices remembered there ❤️

A Vista staple is getting a new address 🌮✨

Monterrey Mexican Restaurant, which has been part of the Vista for more than two decades, announced plans to relocate within the district as redevelopment moves forward at its current home location.

The new spot will be in the former Crafty Crab space, with a reopening date still to be announced 👀

The good news? Monterrey’s isn’t going far and plans to stay in the Vista!
