Tonight is another Opera Thursday at Villa Tronco! We’re putting the spotlight on two exceptional vocalists who are bringing their talent, passion, and artistry to the stage.

Ella Canney, Soprano, is a senior Vocal Performance major at the University of South Carolina. Ella is an accomplished soprano whose recent honors include winning the 2026 USC Concerto-Aria Competition. Her performance experience includes Opera at USC, the Chautauqua Opera Conservatory, Tanglewood, Juilliard, Opera Lucca, and USC Castleton.

Colin Cunningham, Baritone, is also a senior voice major at USC. Colin has built an impressive performance résumé, including roles with Opera at USC and performances at Carnegie Hall, the Musikverein in Vienna, and Walt Disney Concert Hall.

They’ll be joined by Sharon Rattray on piano.

Come support wonderful, local artists and celebrate the magic of live opera on the first Thursday of every month! These events are usually sold out, so be sure to book your reservations for October and November early by calling the restaurant at 803-256-7677.

Opera Thursday was created to entertain lifelong aficionados and introduce new listeners to the beauty of opera. Join The Palmetto Opera each month at Villa Tronco for an unforgettable evening of fine dining, lively company, and captivating performances of arias and Broadway favorites by Midlands-area opera singers.

Dinner begins at 6:00 PM.
